Terms and conditions
- This competition is held
under The British Code of Advertising, Sale Promotion and Direct Marketing
(known as 'the CAP Code') rules
- Entry in the competition is free and
requires no purchase
- The competition starts on Wednesday 28 July 2010 at
9am
- Entries close on Monday 6 September at 5pm; no entries will be accepted
after this time
- Entries are made via a message to Oxtale on Twitter
(@Oxtale), Facebook (www.facebook.com/Oxtale) or Linked In
(www.linkedin.com/in/amyatoxtale), stating the organisation’s name followed by
the word ‘media’ to enter for the media training course or ‘issues’ to enter for
the issues and crisis planning course.
- The draw will take place on Tuesday
7 September at the Oxtale offices, 127 Main Road, Long Hanborough at 12pm;
anyone is welcome to attend this draw – please give prior warning of your
intention to attend by contacting the offices by phone (01993 880360) or email
(help@oxtale.co.uk) before 5pm on Monday 6 September, ensuring your message has
been received.
- One media training course is on offer, and one crisis
planning course is on offer. While organisations are free to enter both, only
one prize is permitted per organisation and should the same name be drawn for
both, the organisation will be offered the first drawn prize; in this situation,
the second prize will be drawn again.
- Only one entry per course per
organisation will be accepted
- No cash alternative is available
- The
courses must be carried out in full by 31 March 2011
- Courses will be
carried out at the winner’s premises; if these are not suitable then other
premises will be found but extra costs may be payable by the winner
- Course
dates and the dates for preparation meetings will be held at mutually agreeable
times
- Winners and Oxtale will both sign a standard letter of agreement to
ensure the winners’ rights to the delivery of a high quality course are
protected, and that Oxtale is given the level of interaction and co-operation
required to deliver to the high standard it wishes.

- The
winners will be notified via Twitter, Facebook or Linked In, depending on how
they entered the competition; the names of the winning organisations will be
made generally available after the course via these media and on the Oxtale
website
- The winners will be asked to provide feedback after the courses,
and Oxtale reserves the right to use this feedback for promotional
purposes.
